Economic Impact Study

In 2018, the Airport Authority completed a new Economic Impact Study for San Diego International Airport. The last Economic Impact Study was completed in 2013 with base year data from 2012. The 2018 study uses base year data gleaned from 2017. The same methodology was used in both studies. The 2018 study indicates a dramatic increase in the regional employment, payroll and economic output (direct and indirect) of San Diego International Airport.
