Thirteen years after San Diego International Airport (SAN) began offering daily flights between San Diego and London on British Airways the route has become so popular that British Airways is increasing the frequency from one flight per day to two.
San Diego International Airport visitors and employees may have noticed increased maintenance and construction activities inside Terminal 2 West (T2W), which primarily serves Air Canada, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa, United Airlines, and WestJet.

The airport anticipates approximately 80,000 people will travel through the SAN each day that week.
