Malashock Dance?is an award-winning dance organization based in San Diego known for its professional company of dancers and educational programs. Malashock Dance focuses on community-centered partnerships and provides opportunities for collaboration with local, regional, and international dance artists. This winter, immerse yourself in You Are Here/Usted Esta Aqui. This three-month performing arts residency invites audiences to engage with dance inspired by oral history interviews collected from passengers at San Diego International Airport and residents around the county. These personal stories will serve as the soundtrack for new choreography, bringing vibrant community narratives and visitor experiences to life.
