• Media are requested to inform the Communications Department when planning to cover news events at the airport for assistance with parking and questions.
• News media are allowed unescorted access to all non-secure areas inside and outside of the airline passenger terminals.
• The media must not restrict the public’s access to gates, ticket counters, baggage areas or other areas in the terminals at any time.
• The ticket counters and gate hold areas are leased by the individual airlines, and access to these areas is at the discretion of the tenant/airline.
• The airport reserves the right to restrict media activity at any location on airport premises if security, safety or operational concerns so warrant.
• If access to secure areas is approved, members of the news media must submit to screening of their persons and equipment at the security checkpoints and must be accompanied by an airport/airline- approved escort.

• When filming, taking still photographs or conducting interviews at the airport, all media representatives are required to display an approved press identification at all times, and all cameras must be clearly marked.
• Requests for filming post-security, on the airfield ramp, apron, taxiway or runway will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Advance notice is essential to allow for escort coordination and security clearance, when allowed.

• Due to heightened security measures, only one media vehicle per media organization is permitted curbside at any one time. This vehicle should be accompanied by a media employee at all times. Those needing to leave their vehicle curbside for interviews inside the terminal must have an Airport Traffic Officer clear the vehicle first before locking it and leaving it unattended. Otherwise, the vehicle is subject to towing (at the owner’s expense).
• All media vehicles parked curbside must be clearly marked and cannot be left unattended without first being cleared by an Airport Traffic Officer. Failure to comply with the above restrictions may result in a citation and/or towing of the vehicle (at the owner’s expense).
