Oh, how we miss the excitement of holiday travel! December is typically a very busy month for our airport, when the terminals are filled with passengers eager to visit friends and family all over the world. This year many of us are staying home and finding creative ways to stay connected to the people and places that matter most.

If you are traveling this month, you can expect the same sunny service you’re familiar with at SAN, along with extra safety measures to protect you on your journey. A number of our restaurants are still open, with onsite dining and takeout options, as well as modifications for social distancing. Our indoor air is filtered and clean, and we’ve added reminders throughout the terminals to keep masks on and stay one surfboard apart.

We know this year has been challenging, and we also know that together, we’ll get to the other side. We wish all of you comfort, peace, and joy this holiday season. Let’s all stay safe and be kind to one another.
