Small Business Development
The Airport Authority is committed to the growth of the San Diego region and the
Small Business Development department was established to ensure that local, small,
historically underutilized, disabled veteran and emerging businesses have every
opportunity to do business with the Airport.
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is an avenue of support to San Diego
County’s small business community, conducting outreach and providing business development
services for contracting, professional services and procurement opportunities at
San Diego International Airport.
The Small Business Development Department acts as a resource for all the departments
within the San Diego Airport to foster opportunities for small businesses. Our Mission
is to lead a cooperative effort to enhance the Airport Authority’s small business
participation through strategic outreach, innovative processes, education and training,
strong community involvement and interdepartmental partnerships.
